How long are the sessions and what body areas are treated? One session last 40 minutes and consists of a fully body massage to trigger systemic action to stimulate circulation and toxin removal. A personalized portion of the treatment time focuses on problem areas such as compact cellulite, loose skin, and/or body shaping. If desired, an additional 5 minute focus time on problem areas can be purchased for $15. Treatments should not exceed 45 minutes.
How often do I have to come in for treatments? For optimal results we recommended you receive a 40 minute treatment twice a week for the first two to three weeks, then once a week until desired results are achieved, followed by a once a month maintenance treatment to sustain results. It is best to put a minimum of 48 hours in between weekly sessions.
How many sessions until I see results? The average women will need 10 to 20 treatments to achieve optimal results; however, some women begin seeing results as early as after 6-8 treatments. The FDA recommendation is 14 treatments. Once a month follow-up treatments are recommended to maintain results. Results are recorded with photos and measurements at beginning, often middle and end.
How long will the results last? Depending on age, lifestyle, and hormonal factors, results can last for several months up to a few years. Will I lose weight? It is not a weight loss method, however, many clients report being able to lose weight, especially fat weight, more easily while using the machine than they ever could before. Our experience has shown inch loss and fat percentage reduction along with visible toning.
What sensations will I experience during and after the treatment? Does it hurt? The sessions should NEVER hurt! The sensation is similar to a deep massage and most clients find the treatments very relaxing. Our technician can vary the strength and intensity of the treatment to your individual comfort level. Afterwards some clients report an increase in energy. Since the Lymphatic system is stimulated, it is recommended that you drink your personalized recommendation of water every day throughout the duration of your treatment in order to aid in elimination of the mobilized fat.
Does this treatment work on men? YES!!! The structure of the hypodermis fat layer is different in men than women. In most cases, the body structure of men allows for a quicker fat reduction than with women. It is especially effective on male problem areas such as reducing excess stomach fat "beer bellies” and “love handles” and firming loose pectoral tissues.
Does this treatment work on women without cellulite? YES!!! People without cellulite use Endermologie® primarily for its many health benefits.
