As part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupuncture aims to restore and maintain health through the stimulation of specific points on the body. A treatment can also include massage, cupping, moxibustion, herbal and nutritional consultation, to promote health and healing.

What is a Trigger Point?
Trigger points are tight bands of muscle fibers, or knots in muscles that can cause muscle pain and stiffness. Usually massage can help these areas feel better temporarily, but the pain returns. Acupuncture at trigger points (AKA motor points) relaxes and resets the entire muscle belly, melting tension from tight muscles. When combined, acupuncture and massage create a wonderful treatment to get you out of pain and feeling better.
