What can I expect during a treatment?
Treatments usually last about an hour, which includes 20 – 30 minutes of consultation and exam, and 20 – 30 minutes of treatment time. There is usually no need to undress for treatments, but we recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothes if possible. Most patients find acupuncture treatments to be very soothing and relaxing. It is not uncommon for patients to fall asleep during their treatments. How many treatments will I need to feel better?
The number of treatments will vary according the nature, duration, and severity of your complaint.
