QWEN McGUIRW HHP/ MT

Gwen McGuire, a native of southern Indiana, is a certified and licensed Holistic Health Practitioner in San Diego, CA. She earned her Therapeutic Massage diploma from Carteret Community College in Morehead City, NC and her training and education consisted of over 1,094 hours of massage therapy. In addition to specializing in Swedish massage, she is also certified in Myofascial Release as well as experienced in Deep Tissue, Sports, Trigger Point Therapy, Hot Stone, Reflexology and Chair massage.
Gwen's technique is a unified integration of Swedish massage, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue and Trigger Point Therapy. Each session is specifically designed to meet the client's needs.
As a Holistic Health Practitioner, Gwen inspires others to develop an awareness of the mind-body connection and understand that health is a state of mind.
In the upcoming months, Gwen will be furthering her education at the Bellus Academy in Poway, CA. She will be pursuing a career as an Esthetician in hopes to combine her love for skin care with holistic health.
Gwen is also a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, IN where she earned her Bachelor in Criminal Justice and minor in Psychology. She is also a graduate of Parkland College in Champaign, IL where she earned her Associate in Science and Certificate in Dental Assisting.
In her spare time, Gwen enjoys traveling, being outdoors, hiking, snorkeling, and playing sports as well as spending time with her husband while exploring sunny San Diego.

I would like to introduce myself. I am Marsha Hamilton a new Massage Therapist at 1 Day Away Spa. I have been a Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP)/Massage Therapist (MT) for four years. I graduated from Poway Academy and am also certified with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, as well as, a member in good standing of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.
I have worked in the spa environment for four years. I also have been working with a chiropractic Office for ten months. Massage Therapy is extremely beneficial and complimentary with many health issues. And of course, massage therapy by itself is wonderful for body, mind, and spirit.
